Poseiden's Hand Study

In this project I focused on the anatomy of the hand, I found the reference image of Poseiden's hand on a shell. The references that I used for this project had a shell that the hand was laying on however, I didn't put it in the model because I wanted to focus more on the hand. The marts of the hand that I most struggled with were the smaller details like the fingernails and some of the smaller wrinkles. I also had to show that some parts of the hand had more bone than flesh like the knuckles and joints. This specific hand had a pattern on the top of the hand that was almost vein-like so I tried to add those details as well.
